Zoom!®

Enhance Your Smile with Confidence and Precision

Experience a Whiter, Brighter Smile

A healthy, radiant smile can transform your confidence. Over time, however, teeth can become stained or discolored from everyday habits — such as drinking coffee, tea, or red wine, tobacco use, aging, or certain medications.

At Peak Dental Utah, we offer Zoom!® Chairside Teeth Whitening, one of the fastest and most effective professional whitening systems available. Using advanced technology and professional-grade whitening gel, Zoom!® can brighten your teeth by several shades in just one 45-minute session.

Why Choose Zoom!® Whitening

Unlike over-the-counter whitening strips or gels that deliver uneven or minimal results, Zoom!® offers:
• Whitening of all teeth simultaneously
• Safe, professional-grade treatment under expert supervision
• Noticeable results in a single visit
• Minimal sensitivity and discomfort
• Removal of stains from crowns, veneers, and restorations
• Longer-lasting, natural-looking brightness

If you’re looking for immediate, visible whitening with little to no downtime, Zoom!® is the ideal choice.

How Zoom!® Works

Zoom!® whitening uses a powerful yet gentle hydrogen peroxide gel (25%) that breaks down stains on the enamel and dentin. When activated by a specialized halide light, the gel releases oxygen molecules that penetrate the tooth surface to lift deep discoloration — without damaging the tooth structure.

The Zoom!® light features a built-in infrared filter that reduces heat and sensitivity during treatment, making the process comfortable and safe for most patients.

What to Expect During Treatment

Your Zoom!® whitening experience at Peak Dental Utah is quick, easy, and relaxing:

Step 1: Consultation & Cleaning
Your dentist evaluates your teeth and gums to ensure they’re healthy for whitening. A professional cleaning is performed to remove surface buildup.

Step 2: Preparation
Protective eyewear and splashguards are provided. Cheek retractors expose the teeth, and a protective coating is applied to the gums to prevent sensitivity.

Step 3: Whitening Process

  • The Zoom!® whitening gel is applied to your teeth.

  • The specialized light is positioned to activate the gel for 15 minutes.

  • The gel is removed and reapplied for two additional 15-minute sessions, totaling about 45 minutes of active whitening.

Step 4: Post-Treatment Care
After your final rinse, you’ll immediately notice a whiter, brighter smile — often several shades lighter than before.

Aftercare and Maintenance

To keep your teeth looking their best:

  • Brush and floss daily with anti-sensitivity or whitening toothpaste.

  • Limit dark beverages such as coffee, tea, red wine, and soda.

  • Avoid tobacco products.

  • Schedule occasional Zoom!® Weekender touch-ups for maintenance.

Your dentist will also provide personalized recommendations to help extend your whitening results.

Who Should Avoid Whitening

Teeth whitening is safe for most patients; however, it’s not recommended for those who are pregnant, nursing, or have untreated cavities or gum disease. Your dentist will perform a quick evaluation to ensure you’re a good candidate for Zoom!® treatment.
